The video resources on this site will assist in-service and pre-service science teachers to design and conduct inquiry projects in schools with high school students.

Each series of short videos is given by a practicing scientist in a specific field.  The videos discuss:

  • the wide range of methodologies used by practising scientists to design valid scientific research (i.e. not just controlled experimental designs)

  • the way in which inquiries are designed in your specific area of research

  • how high school teachers might leverage these principles to design and conduct scientific inquiries that do not require specialised equipment.

Support for this project has been provided by the Australian Government Office for Learning and Teaching.
